Tampa, FL (Sports Network) - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed defensive
lineman Wallace Gilberry on Monday.
A four-year veteran who signed with the Buccaneers in the offseason, he was
released from the team on Saturday.
He spent his past four seasons with the Chiefs and while there he played in 53
games, starting three. During that time, he has recorded 57 tackles and 14
sacks.
To make room on the roster for Gilberry, the team waived guard Julian
Vandervelde.
Also on Monday, the team released guard Brian Folkerts from the practice
squad and signed tackle Bradley Sowell, linebackers Jacob Cutrera and J.K.
Schaffer, tight end Brake Dunsmore, wide receivers Dale Moss and Bert Reed,
quarterback Adam Weber and defensive end Markus White to the practice squad.
