(Sports Network) - The Washington Redskins announced Friday that safety
Tanard Jackson has been suspended indefinitely for violating the NFL's
drug policy.
Jackson signed with the Redskins in the offseason after spending the first
five years of his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
FOXSports.com reported that Jackson's case is subject to review next year,
but he is appealing the suspension.
Jackson started 10 games last season for Tampa Bay and finished with 35
tackles and two interceptions.
This is Jackson's third suspension of his career.
