BALTIMORE (AP) - An online grocer that delivers products from local suppliers and farms is rolling out its service in Baltimore, Washington and Philadelphia.

Relay Foods of Charlottesville, Va., is beginning the service on Tuesday. The Baltimore Sun (http://tinyurl.com/8qb4sza) reports the company is expanding its service following the June acquisition of Washington-based Arganica Farm Club, an online farmers' market with service in Baltimore, Washington and Philadelphia.

Relay delivers items to businesses, schools, apartment complexes and homes. In Maryland, home delivery will be available in Baltimore City and in Baltimore, Howard, Anne Arundel and Carroll counties.

Relay has about 100 suppliers in each of its two Virginia markets and hopes to work out a similar arrangement in Baltimore.
