ST MARY'S COUNTY, Md. (WUSA) -- St. Mary's County sheriff's officials say a 20-year-old woman fled from the state after she was indicted for enticing a 17-year-old girl into prostitution. They say Laura Elizabeth Thomas, also known as Star Thomas, was later found in Indiana.

Thomas and a man met the teenager online and planned take her outside St. Mary's County to prostitute, say authorities. Once she was picked up, however, the teen was able to get out of their vehicle and return home. There, she contacted police.
