MCLEAN, Va. (WUSA) -- Fairfax County Police say two 14-year-old girls are the victims of a sexual assault after an incident on August 20 at approximately 3:30 a.m.

According to police, the girls were walking on Chain Bridge Road from the area of Chain Bridge Court but when they turned to walk back, they noticed a man run across Chain Bridge Road. They say he hid behind a bush at the end of a church parking lot.

Then, as the girls walked down Davidson Road, the same man started walking toward them. When he was close, he reportedly reached out and grabbed a girl, putting arms around her waist. The other girl tried to break her friend free of his grasp, but the man then reportedly grabbed her.

According to police, the man touched both of the girls inappropriately.

The girls screams and dog's bark scared the suspect, who fled on foot north on Chain Bridge Road.

The girls ran home to call police.

Police say the suspect was described as Asian, in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a thin build and short hair. He was wearing an orange and white striped T-shirt and blue jeans.
