BROOKLYN PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- The victim of a robbery told police that a man asked him for a cigarette before the man and two others assaulted him and stole his cell phone and wallet.
Anne Arundel County Police say they received a report about a fight on Tuesday at approximately 1:43 a.m. in the area of Ritchie Highway and 10th Avenue in Brooklyn Park.
When officers arrived, they spoke with the 39-year-old victim, who said he was walking to the store when a white, four door sedan with tinted windows stopped beside him. The front seat passenger asked him for a cigarette. The victim was in the process of handing the passenger a cigarette when the passenger got out and grabbed him around the waist.
According to the victim, that's when the passenger in the back seat got out of the vehicle. That passenger then punched him and demanded money.
Then, both passengers went through his pockets. The driver also got out of his vehicle and took the victim's cell phone and wallet. The passengers and driver then got back in the vehicle and drove off on 10th Avenue towards Belle Grove Road.
The first suspect is described as a white male in his 20's, approximately 180 pounds with a shaved head and tattoos on both arms, wearing a tan shirt and black shorts. He was the front seat passenger.
The second suspect, the driver, was described as a white male in his 20's, approximately 170 pounds, wearing a black t-shirt, blue jean shorts, a necklace and a watch.
The third suspect, the rear seat passenger, was described as a bi-Racial male in his 20's, wearing a white tank top and dark-colored shorts.
