WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- At least 5 cars were involved in an accident on inbound Suitland Parkway at Stanton Road SE on Tuesday morning. The accident happened at approximately 5:35 a.m. All lanes are clear but delays remain in the area.

There are some injuries, but at this time the number of injuries and the conditions of the people are unknown.

Another accident happened at Suitand Parkway and Firth Sterling Avenue, involving two cars. Lanes are now open.
