WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- General Motors is recalling some 250,000 mid-size SUVs.
A short in a circuit board in certain 2006 to 2007 Buick Rainier, Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 97-X models can cause the power windows and locks to fail.
General Motors says the problem also poses a potential fire hazard.

GM says it will notify owners by mail as to when they can make an appointment with the dealer for the free repair.
