William Andrew Holt, James Roy Chase Jr., Kevin Francis Thompson, and Colin Dion Cutchember Charged In Mechanicsville, Md. Drug Bust

MECHANICSVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- Law enforcement officers from multiple jurisdictions say they busted several people for possession of drugs after a search and seizure warrant was executed on Kavanaugh Road in Mechanicsville. 

According to police, the suspects tried to flee the front yard of the home through the woods to the back of the home, but officers caught up with them.

St. Mary's County authorities say they seized crack Cocaine, marijuana, nearly $3,200, and "digital scales related paraphernalia." 

Twenty-five-year-old William Andrew Holt was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana while 25-year-old James Roy Chase Jr. was charged with possession of cocaine. 

Two more people were arrested on open warrants. Twenty-three-year-old Kevin Francis Thompson of Lexington Park was arrested on an open indictment for theft, and 34-year-old Colin Dion Cutchember was charged for marijuana possession and he was served an arrest indictment for possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
