WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Handfuls of puppies are getting a second chance of living a happy and loving life.
The Washington Animal Rescue League was called on to rescue 23 dogs from a puppy mill in Ohio.
The dogs will go through a medical and behavioral evaluation before they are available for adoption.
The group is now resting well, and our Ken Molestina explains why their futures are now just a little bit brighter.
