3400 acquired tickets to hear GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan speak. He asked the crowd "Do we want four more years?"
"No," the crowd shouted.
Before the new Republican star took the stage, it was round robin for Virginia's GOP with congressman Frank Wolf giving a fiery speech and attorney general Ken Cuccinelli sharing the stage with former Democrat and Obama pitchman Artoor Davis. Plus, the chosen presidential running mate from Wisconsin.
Paul Ryan said the president inherited a bad economy, but made matters worse, that the message has turned from hope and change into attack and blame Then, he turned to Medicare.
"President Obama is the one who treated Medicare like a piggy bank," Ryan said.
Fairfax County Democratic chair Cesar Del Aguila gave us the counter position, saying that the Republicans want seniors to have vouchers, which are no more than coupons for their health care.
