Man Robbed While Walking From Takoma Park Metro Station

TAKOMA PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- Takoma Park police say a man was walking from the Metro station on Tuesday night when he was assaulted and robbed by a group of people.

Police responded to the 7000 block of Carroll Avenue after receiving a call about the robbery at 10:42 p.m. The victim told them three people assaulted and robbed him before fleeing towards Second Street. The victim did not receive any severe injuries, say police.

The first suspect was described only as a black male, 5'6" tall with a medium building. He was wearing a white shirt and black pants.

The second suspect was described as a black male, 5'6" tall with a medium build, wearing a black shirt and black pants.

There was no description for the third suspect.
