HARPER'S FERRY, W.Va. (WUSA) - It's the longest hiking only footpath in the world, and now the Appalachian Trail is marking its 75th anniversary.
9News photographer Greg Guise spent the day on a portion of the trail, speaking with the volunteers who help preserve it as a natural treasure for those who marvel at the challenge it presents to hikers.
