House On Fire In Ft. Washington, Md. Belongs To Former DC Fire Chief Coleman

FORT WASHINGTON, Md. (WUSA) -- Sky 9 captured video of a fire at a home in Fort Washington on Wednesday. Prince George's County Fire spokesperson Mark Brady tweeted that the homeowner is "former DCFD Chief Coleman." DCFire.com lists Theodore Coleman as serving as DC Fire Chief from 1983 to 1988.

Smoke was showing from a two-story home in the 12000 block of Lihou Court when firefighters arrived. The fire is now out. 

Brady reports that one firefighter received a minor burn during the operation.

According to Brady, there was a fire at the home on Sunday as well.
