WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- There's a price war going on over e-readers and you'll be the one saving money.
Barnes and Noble is slashing prices for the Nook. The price for an 8 gigabyte e-reader is being reduced by $20- down to $179. The 16 gigabyte model is getting a $50 price cut.
The new prices undercut the cost of Amazon's Kindle, the other major player in e-books. It's just about to release a new line of Kindles.
