Travis Everett Hoskins For Fatally Shooting Oliver Davis In Capitol Heights

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA) -- Prince George's County Police arrested 19-year-old Travis Everett Hoskins for the murder of Oliver Gregson Davis in Capitol Heights.

On August 11, at about 1:54 p.m. police responded to a call after a shooting was reported at the 700 block of Glacier Avenue. Upon arrival, police found 29-year-old Davis fatally shot inside his home. He was pronounced dead on scene.

The investigation revealed that Hoskins and Davis were roommates. The pair was arguing over food when Hoskins retrieved a gun and fatally shot Davis. Hoskins fled the scene but was arrested on Sunday.

Hoskins was charged with first degree murder and is awaiting extradition to Prince George's County.
