EDGEWATER, Md. (WUSA) -- Anne Arundel County Fire says that crews pulled a woman's body from the South River near the bridge on Friday morning.
Crews received a call shortly before 7:20 a.m. for a possible drowning near the southbound lanes of Route 2 at South River Bridge.
Around 8:35 a.m., fire official reported that crews had discovered a female, estimated to be about 30 years old, floating in the water and pulled her out.
