WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC firefighters pulled one person out of a burning apartment in Northwest.
Crews rushed to the fire at the Hampton Court Apartments on New Hampshire Avenue Northwest near V street early Friday.
There's no word on the condition of the person crews rescued. No one else was injured and no other units were damaged.
Firefighters opened windows and set up huge fans to clear the smoke from the building.
An investigation into what caused the fire is underway.
