DC Police Seek Information About Potential Threat To Minors

WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Detectives from the DC Police Department Youth Investigations Division are investigating reports of an adult male attempting to entice minors.

On Friday, April 27th police received complaints about fliers being distributed in the American University Park neighborhood offering tutoring services to boys.

On Monday, August 6th a complaint was received regarding a Mount Pleasant resident, who was allegedly in possession of child pornography.

On Tuesday, August 7, 2012, a nude adult male reportedly made overtures to three juveniles in the swimming pool locker room at Wilson High School.

On Wednesday, August 8, 2012, a male juvenile reported that he was walking in the 4800 block of 36th Street NW, when a male in a vehicle followed him and repeatedly offered him a ride. The vehicle was described as a blue, four-door Chevrolet.
