10:14 P.M.: 7-6 Redskins is the final score. No better way to end #RG3Begins than with a victory. Signing off now...solid first showing for the Burgundy and Gold.
10:01 P.M.: 7-6 Redskins with 4 minutes left in the 4th...can they get the W!?!?
9:40 P.M.: So it's the 4th Quarter and the field is filled with backups, so I think it's a good time to share this nugget about RG3: Apparently he could've been an Olympian. Is there anything this guy can't do? Oh yeah, we're definitely sipping the Kool-aid.
9:16 P.M.: RGIII had an interview with ESPN 980's Doc Walker just before he hit the locker room on Thursday. Here are some of the notable quotes.
On his first game:
"It felt extremely good to come out [and play]. Coach did a good job of calling plays, got me in rhythm and helped get the rhythm on that third drive."
On if he wanted to scramble:
"I wanted to run the keeper. It would have been fun. But the one thing I know I had to do is play smart. I saw the 'backer come to the line. I knew it was going to be a hot throw. They did a good job playing the keeper."
9:00 P.M.: If you think the RGIII madness is blowing up your Twitter timeline today, just wait until August 25th, for what could be the most hyped preseason game in NFL history.
The Indianapolis Colts will travel to Fed Ex Field. Yep, those same Colts who selected Andrew Luck with the no. 1 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. There is a possibility there may be some bad blood lingering between the Colts and Robert Griffin III. Remember in April he declined the Colts invitation for a private workout.
Andrew Luck and Griffin III will be forever linked together -- think Larry Bird-Magic Johnson; LeBron-Carmelo; or even the dreaded Peyton Manning-Ryan Leaf. The Colts and Redskins will only play each other once every four years.
Need an additional reason for why this game means so much? The third preseason game is typically the matchup where starters play the most. Redskins coach Mike Shanahan has already indicated that RGIII will play at least the entire first half during Washington's preseason home opener.Kickoff is scheduled for 4 PM on Saturday the 25th. If you are a true Redskins fan, that means there will be plenty of time to tailgate before AND after the game.

8:53 P.M.: The second half has kicked off and Vince Young is on at Quarterback for Buffalo: This should be somewhat entertaining.
8:36 P.M.: Reports have surfaced on Twitter that Michael Vick has suffered a hand injury. There is no confirmation how serious it may be. Vick has started all 16 games only once in his career, back in 2006. Mike Kafka (out of Northwestern) is the Eagles backup quarterback. We will keep you posted.
8:30 P.M.: ESPN has completely butchered Robert Griffin III's name on their website. You have to check this out.
8:12 P.M.: Would you do THIS to your car to honor RGIII? I don't think I could...
7:56 P.M.: All #RG3Begins all the time. Check out these PHOTOS of him with his fiancee Rebecca Liddicoat.
7:47 P.M.: #RG3Begins has actually turned into a bigger opportunity for another rookie. Rex Grossman has entered the game in typical Rex Grossman fashion -- by nearly throwing an interception and throwing Redskins fans in a tizzy on Twitter. So fourth round pick Kirk Cousins has a chance to knock Grossman off of the backup job if he can look halfway decent...even if it is against third-string players. Kyle Shanahan should let Cousins play, aka no conservative run play calls.
7:32 P.M.: Touchdown Washington Redskins. Pierre Garcon was fabulous on the drive, catching intermediate passes and eventually take a bubble screen pass in for a 20-yard touchdown. And surprise, surprise: the offensive line was stellar on the drive, including rookie right guard Adam Gettis. #RG3Begins
7:21 P.M.: Bills 3, Redskins 0. A touchdown is negated to a Bills illegal formation penalty. The Redskins front seven looks ferocious so far, esepcially Ryan Kerrigan.
7:16 P.M.: Six snaps for the Redskins, and six pathetic showings by the offensive line. People will be quick to judge Evan Royster, but the Buffalo defensive line is completely mauling Washington's offensive line. Royster coughed up a fumble on a third and short.
7:15 P.M.: Here's a list of some of the hottest RGIII apparel for sale online. Never to early to start holiday shopping!
7:10 P.M.: So RGIII began his preseason career with a three-and-out -- two stuffed handoffs to running back Evan Royster and a third-down out pattern to Pierre Garcon, who couldn't keep his feet in bounds. The Bills started on offense with shotgun, five wide receivers. The Redskins should open things up like that for Griffin to give him some confidence early.
6:50 P.M.: This is too good: A PHOTO of RGIII as an 11-year-old.
6:35 P.M.: Well, this has absolutely nothing to do with RGIII, but the Dallas Cowboys have reached out to wide receiver Plaxico Burress, according to ESPN Dallas. Maybe Miles Austin's hamstring injury is much more serious than we all originally thought. And I think we can all LOL at the thought of Plaxico Burress (who spent years in jail) mentoring Dez Bryant.
6:29 P.M.: According to Mark Maske, wide receiver Leonard Hankerson next to Pierre Garcon. Kind of surprising. Maybe the Redskins want Hankerson to get less reps because of his
injury -- and new receiver Josh Morgan to get more reps because he is new in the system.
6:25 P.M.: Can't get up to Buffalo to see #RG3Begins in person tonight? Here's a list of D.C.'s top 20 sports bars where you can check out RGIII and the Skins all season long.
