WASHINGTON (AP) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting in the Petworth neighborhood of Northwest Washington.
Police say a man's body was found shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Park Road, Northwest. The man had been shot in the head. Police have not released his name.
D.C. police are also investigating a nonfatal shooting that occurred early Sunday in the Anacostia neighborhood of Southeast. Police say the victim is refusing to cooperate.
