FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (WUSA) -- There's a home in Fredericksburg that seems to attract bad driving.

Wednesday night, a car slammed right into the home on Woodford Street.

The bricks and debris still litter the yard. The gaping hole is now boarded up where the car went through.

This is no the first time a driver has lost control at Bryan Stableford's property.

The homeowner was watching TV when he heard what he tells police sounded like a large explosion around 9:45 Wednesday night. Police say the driver was drunk and plowed right into the kitchen.

The home is located on a bend where some people say drivers like to speed.

The Fredericksburg Star reported that in the last 20 years, there have been six accidents on the property.

Stableford's brother and father's trucks were hit in the past. And a driver struck a utility pole, causing the car to flip over into the front yard.

But this latest accident came the closest.

Police say a 21-year-old driver has been charged with DUI and reckless driving.
