WASHINGTON (WUSA) - Hundreds gathered on Woodrow Wilson Plaza for a free tribute concert to the Godfather of Go-Go, Chuck Brown.
The music was blaring and every person was groovin' including several people who decided to take a "rhythmic" lunch break.
"I work near here, had time for lunch, and wanted to stop by," said D.C. resident, Renee Walters. "The concert was a great idea. It's the perfect way to get people moving during their work day, and bring everyone together."
Thursday, August 2 marked the last day of the free summer performances that featured world-renowned entertainers at Woodrow Wilson Plaza.
