MIAMI, Fla. (WUSA) -- David Escamillo, a 44-year old Miami Beach man, was detained by police just after midnight Tuesday after he created a disturbance in a movie theatre during a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises".

Witness accounts via CBS Miami reported that Escamillo got up during "Dark Knight Rises" and began pacing up and down the stairs before getting into a fight with another man and leaving the theatre.

"(Escamillo) returned a short time later wearing black gloves, and according to the report, stormed to the back of the theater where he screamed "This is it!," CBS Miami wrote.  "Panicked, more than 100 people in the theater raced toward the exits as three patrons jumped Escamillo and held him for police.  Witnesses told police no shots were fired."

Escamillo was charged with causing a disturbance in an establishment and affray (fighting in a public place)
