WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- We're taking a look at what's showing at the theaters this weekend. This weekend seems to feature films that are a little bizarre and some films that energize.
Monika Samtani and pop culture expert Jennice Fuentes talked about Step Up Revolution, Ruby Sparks and Queen of Versailles.
Step Up Revolution is the fourth film of the franchise. In it, a young girl goes to Miami hoping to become a dancer. The movie has plenty of dance action, a little drama and of course, boy meets girl, boy falls in love with girl.
Jennice likes Ruby Sparks, which is about a novelist who has writer's block and is looking for love. So he creates a woman he thinks will love him, then wills her into existence. This movie is from the producers of "Little Miss Sunshine."
Then, there's a documentary that has a lot of people talking about the lifestyle of this once-filthy rich family. It's called Queen of Versailles. Watch the video above to see what people thought after watching it at the Sundance Festival.
