FREDERICK, Md. (WUSA) -- Frederick police are trying to determine if the resident of a home that had its window shot out on Wednesday was the target of the shooting.
Wednesday at approximately 1:00 a.m., officers arrived at the first block of George Thomas Dr. for a shots fired call. Callers reported hearing gunshots in the area, and an unknown vehicle was reported leaving from the scene. A homeowner told police that a window inside a house was shot out.
Detectives investigated and determined that the shooting could be related to an altercation on the street at approximately 7 the night before. They say a resident of the home tmay have been the intended target.
