OAKTON, Va. (WUSA) -- Two men are dead after an apparent murder/suicide in Oakton Wednesday night.

Officer Eddie Azcarate, spokesman for the Fairfax County Police Department, confirms officers discovered two gunshot victims inside a home at 3051 Trevor House Drive after responding to the location to investigate a shooting just after 7:00 p.m.

According to Officer Azcarate, an initial investigation has revealed the incident appears to be a murder/suicide that resulted from an argument between two house mates. Police believe Ihab R. Qutob, age 43, and his roommate, Aden Rios, 27, were arguing when Rios shot and killed Qutob, then turned the weapon on himself.

Mr. Qutob was pronounced dead at the scene. Rios was alive when medics arrived, but later died at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Azcarate said.

A gun was recovered at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
