WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - The firestorm surrounding the Chik- Fil-A controversy has many of its customers sounding off in the Washington area.
The reaction outside a Silver Spring Chik-Fil-A was mixed. Michael Wang, who eats at the restaurant said, "I don't think he should have said it even if he did feel that way", about the recent comments described by many as homophobic, made by the company's president and CEO, Dan Cathy.
Another patron, Mark Beachy had a different viewpoint.
Beachy said, "People should not be criticized for their belief. If there is something that you believe in then you should be able to say it without being bullied." See Ken Molestina's video above for more debate over the controversy swirling around the fast food chain.
