WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- DC Police say they are investigating a car that struck a building in the 2400 block of Pomeroy SE.

At 1:33 p.m., the call came in for a report of a shooting and a car crashing into a building.

Firefighters responded to the call and notified the gas company of a possible gas leak.

Several streets in the area are closed. Police said they were not able to locate a gunshot victim or the driver of the car.
