AURORA, Colo. (KUSA) -- The suspect in the Aurora theater killing spree is being held in a segregated cell at the Arapahoe County Jail, authorities say.
James Holmes, 24, is accused of gunning down theater goers as they watched a midnight showing of the new Batman movie "Dark Knight Rises" early Friday. Twelve people died and 58 others were wounded.
Arapahoe County officials say Holmes is being held in administrative segregation. Jail officials say there has been no direct threats against Holmes but removed him from the general population due to the high-profile nature of the case.
Jail officials say Holmes is not on suicide watch and has not had any visitors since he entered the Arapahoe County Jail Friday.
The suspect has declined all interviews on the advice of his attorneys.
