WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Health dangers identified by inspectors July 9th through July 13th resulted in emergency closures at four area food spots.

District of Columbia Department of Health records indicate on Friday the 13th, at the Shaw neighborhood China Dragon Carryout, 1439 11th St. NW, inspectors found insects and gross unsanitary conditions that may endanger the public health.

The District of Columbia Health Department reported temporarily closing the restaurant for sanitation violations.

The manager declined an interview.

It wasn't the restaurant's first time in trouble.

Last October, according to health department records, inspectors cited workers blowing their nose or coughing, no one washing their hands, food at unsafe temperatures, and a sewage back-up.

Prince Georges County reports three suspensions, including Family Dollar, 5454 St. Barnabas Road, in Oxon Hill for a rodent infestation, and in District Heights inspectors shut down two illegal mobile food stands operated by Wayne Milburn-BAW and Raleigh Wayne Ferrell.

China Dragon and Family Dollar passed reinspection and reopened.
