BALTIMORE, Md. (WUSA) - Terome Knight, 56, of Laurel was accused on Tuesday of Medicaid fraud that allegedly took place over four years.
From January 2008 to January 2012, Knight allegedly submitted claims for payment to the Medicaid program for services he did not receive. He is charged with six counts each of Felony Medicaid Fraud and Felony Theft.

A Felony Medicaid Fraud is punishable by up to five years' in prison and up to a $100,000 fine for each offense. One count of Felony Theft is punishable by up to 15 years' in prison and up to a $15,000 fine, the remainder are punishable by up to 10 years and a $10,000 fine each.
The case is scheduled for arraignment on July 20.
