TRIANGLE, Va. (WUSA) -- A 14-year-old boy faces multiple charges after robbing another teen in Triangle on Wednesday night.
Prince William County Police say that a 17-year-old boy reported that a teen had approached him from behind on Old Triangle Road and then punched him in the face. He also said the other teen threatened him with a knife and kicked him multiple times in the head. The 14-year-old then allegedly fled with the other teen's cell phone and wallet.
Officers were able to find the 14-year-old boy in a wooded area nearby and he was arrested without incident. He is now charged with armed robbery, malicious wounding and a probation violation. He is being held at a juvenile detention facility.
The victim was treated at a hospital for minor injuries, and he has his wallet and cell phone back.
