TAKOMA PARK, Md. (WUSA) -- A man told Takoma Park Police that he was walking home from the Metro station on Tuesday night when he was robbed at gunpoint on Takoma Avenue.
The man told police that he was walking on Takoma Avenue and was stopped by a black male, wearing a black hat and all black clothing armed with a small black revolver. According to the man, the suspect told him to put everything on the ground or he would be shot. The man did as he was told. Then, the suspect told him to run away, and he did.
Once the man was at his home, he called police.
Police then searched the area for the suspect using a K-9 but the suspect was not found.
