WASHINGTON (WUSA) - Early Sunday, only a handful of customers in the Mid-Atlantic region remained without power as a result of violent storms last weekend.
Baltimore Gas & Electric said about 35 customers remained without power early Sunday afternoon. The storm caused nearly 738,000 outages in BGE's central Maryland service area.
BGE announced later on Sunday that all customers had their power back, including those who experienced outage due to extreme heat and other storms.
BGE did warn that "customers should prepare for the potential for additional severe weather throughout this evening, as well as throughout the rest of our region's often volatile summer storm and hurricane season. "
