LIBERTYTOWN, Md. (WUSA) -- Maryland State Police are looking for a man who entered a 7-Eleven in Libertytown, Md. and reportedly discharged a rifle while robbing the store.
The incident happened Thursday at approximately 10:30 p.m. at the store at 11922 Main Street. The man reportedly entered the 7-Eleven with a rifle and demanded money from the clerk. He received cash.
During the investigation, police learned that the suspect fired two rounds from the rifle: one inside the store near the clerk and the second outside the store near a customer. No one was struck by the bullets.
When he left the store with cash, he confronted a woman in her car and then a man standing outside his car in the parking lot. The suspect forced the male to the ground at gunpoint and then ran away.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5'10" tall, and 140 pounds. He was wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans, with a gray shirt wrapped around his face.
