ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) -- Arlington County Police say that a 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted Wednesday afternoon at the public parking garage next to the Ballston Common Mall.
A man reportedly walked up behind a woman who was walking to her car on the fourth level of the garage and lifted up her skirt. A police spokesperson says the man then grabbed the woman's buttocks and "sexually assaulted her with his hand." The woman screamed, startling the man. The man then fled.

The woman was able to leave and call police.
The suspect was described as a black male about 6 feet tall and 150 pounds between the age of 17 and 25. He was wearing dark pants, a light shirt, sneakers and a black knit hat.
