(WUSA) - As the 2012 Olympics inch closer, take a look at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials, which took place in Eugene, Oregon.

The Summer Olympics begin on July 27 and end on August 12 in London.

Track & Field Highlights:

  • Maurice Mitchell, Wallace Spearmon Jr., and Isiah Young placed in the men's 200-meter dash final.
  • Lashinda Demus won the women's 400-meter hurdles final.
  • Michael Tinsley finished first in the men's 400 meter hurdles.
  • Leonel Manzano won the 1,500-meter run in 3:35.75.
  • Aries Merritt won the 110m hurdles.
  • Allyson Felix won the women's 200m by running a meet-record 21.69.
  • Allyson Felix and Jeneba Tarmoh, tied for third place in the 100m. Tarmoh declined the 3rd place spot to Felix.
