ARLINGTON, Va. (WUSA) - Arlington County Police say a 23 year-old Arlington resident was sexually assaulted at knifepoint on Tuesday evening near mile marker 44 on the Four Mile Run bike trail.
Officials were notified of the assault by the Virginia Hospital Center staff after the victim checked herself in around 8:49 p.m. An hour before, police say the confrontation took place between a woman jogger and a Hispanic male. Police say the suspect took out a knife, drug her off the trail into a wooded area, and
Arlington County Police say the suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5'5- 6" tall and 140 lbs. The victim reported the suspect was wearing a green t-shirt with the
word "George" across the front. She also said he had a small head, a high-pitched voice, and spoke broken English.
