SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA) -- Silver Spring resident Noam Parness sent us an e-mail this morning saying Pepco "hasn't touched the major feeds that feed the majority" of the homes in the Kemp Mill neighborhood of Silver Spring.

"These pictures are from the transmission lines adjacent to Northwood High School, at 919 University Boulevard West, in Silver Spring," Parness wrote.  "Last night, at around 10:30 PM, Pepco 'cancelled' the outage for our neighborhood of around 1500 homes, declaring the power was back on. However, power was still out, and when I called to report that, they told me I was the only one affected."
