WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The D.C. Public Library system will extend hours at 10 facilities to serve as cooling centers but will be closed on July the 4th.

These libraries will be open from 1 p.m.  to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and will close Wednesday, July 4th:
