NEWARK, N.J. (WUSA) -- In the 2012 NBA Draft, the  the Wizards have selected Bradley Beal from Florida with their number three pick.

His favorite part of the process

"Meeting all the teams. And realizing the you've actually made it. Your a step closer to your dream. Just talking to all the GM's and coaches. And getting to know everybody. This is really like a business. I'm really taking it all in."

On if he will be extra happy as the second overall pick

"As long as I'm picked, I'm happy. Honestly. It doesn't matter how high I go. As long as I'm with the right team, a great group of guys. Regardless if it's pick two, three, 10 or late lottery, it really doesn't matter where I'm picked."

What he's hearing about what Washington might to at no.3

"Honestly, I have no idea. So many people are trying to trade up. I have no clue. My agent doesn't know. He's trying to communicate with the teams, because he doesn't have a clue either."

On his workout in Cleveland against Harrison Barnes

"Harrison is a great player. He's a great competitor. He can shoot the ball well. There's times he went at me and there were times I went at him. It was real competitive. I thought we both did a great job."
