(WUSA) -- The travel site Orbitz is reportedly steering Mac users to more expensive hotels.
The Wall Street Journal reports people using an Apple computer spend as much as 30 percent more on hotel reservations than people using Windows-based computers. That's 20 or 30 extra bucks a night on a hotel.
The Journal says Orbitz pay be pushing Mac users to higher end hotels because they are seen as higher end consumers.
The catch: this is legal.
