"A search of the property resulted in the seizure of nearly two pounds of marijuana, approximately 287 miscellaneous pills, more than 200 doses of LSD, crystal methamphetamines, cocaine, heroin, psychedelic mushrooms and more than 100 smoking devices. In addition, law enforcement seized more than $2,500 in U.S. currency resulting from narcotics distribution," police said.
It happened at an event called "Camp Glow," a music festival that attracted people from all over the east coast, according to police. The party was held in the 24000 block of Somerville Road, in a rural area, near Commonwealth Park in the southern end of Culpeper County, police said.
"The event, which was advertised on Facebook.com, was held from Friday, June 15 through Sunday, June 17... The event consisted of a large outdoor music festival with laser lights, bands and a stage. Deputies learned of the event resulting from a noise violation on Friday, and responded to the complaint only to be met by event organizers who denied the Deputies entry onto the property. Event organizers complied with the request to turn down the music at that time," police said.
Police returned with a search warrant Sunday morning.
"Once on the grounds, law enforcement found more than one hundred tents occupied by at least two hundred people," police said.
