(WUSA) -- The Navy Yard Metro Station will close at 10 p.m. on Saturday so that law enforcement can conduct a security drill. The Half Street entrance of the Green Line station will be closed several times during the weekend as well.
Riders may see a lot of emergency vehicles and police and some street closures, but Metro says not to be alarmed -- it's because of the drill.
Metro says that trains will run through the station "at all times." After 10 p.m. free shuttle buses will be available between Navy Yard and Waterfront. If you must use the shuttle service, you should add 15 minutes to your travel time.
The station will reopen at 7 a.m.
