ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) - Bridge work will close all lanes of Interstate 495 north at Exit 50, Arlington Boulevard (Route 50) on Friday night.
The lanes will be closed on Friday starting at 9:30 p.m. The road will reopen on Saturday at 7 a.m., say Virginia Department of Transportation officials. Officials say drivers will be directed onto the collector lane next to I-495 north.
When the northbound work is completed, the I-495 south lanes will be closed at Exit 50. The closure begins Saturday at 9:30 p.m. and is expected to last until 9 a.m. on Sunday. Drivers will be detoured to the collector lane.
