WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Last week it was the Potomac Nationals who completely botched Redskins Reed Doughty's name and number.
This week? Some not-to-be-named football trading card company accidentally printed Reed Doughty's card with former Redskin running back Shaun Alexander's face.
Alexander played in four games for the Redskins in 2008, and carried the football just 11 times for 24 yards.
This is as inexcusable as a mistake gets in the sports trading card industry. Doughty, is one of the few Caucasian safeties in the entire NFL and Alexander, obviously is African-American -- and a former league MVP.
If something this unusual happens to Doughty again, we'll have to start considering that people are actually sabotaging his image.
