ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WUSA) -The Virginia Department of Transportation will close Interstate 95 High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lanes starting on Monday, June 18 through Thursday, June 21 from 8 p.m. until 4 a.m. VDOT will close the lanes again on Friday from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m.
The lanes will be closed from Exit 152, Dumfries Road (Route 234) to Exit 169, Franconia Road /Keene Mill Road (Route 644).
At night, the HOV lanes will be open heading north from the slip ramp on I-95 near Exit 169, Franconia Road/Keene Mill Road to the D.C. line.
On Saturday, June 23 all HOV lanes will reopen at 9 a.m. heading north toward Washington, D.C.
