WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Prince George's County police have arrested a DC man for a strong-arm robbery n College Park that happened on June 8.
Police say a citizen saw the surveillance video from the robbery, which eventually led them to 18-year-old James Lakeen Turner.
Detectives were canvassing the area of the 8200 block of Baltimore Avenue in College Park on Tuesday night when they saw a man who matched the description of the suspect. When detectives attempted to stop the man, he ran off. After a short foot chase, the man was stopped and identified as James Turner.
Police say Turner later waived his rights and confessed to his involvement in the robbery.
