NEW MARKET, Md. (WUSA) -- A few months ago 9Sports introduced you to 10-year-old Lily Weaver, who was battling cancer at Children's Hospital, Weaver's father, Frank, coaches and teaches at Rockville High School.

Our story focused on how the Rockville athletic community, school in general, and the community of New Market raised funds to help the family.

Good news: Lily is out of the hospital, cancer free, and recovering at home. 9Sports will be airing an update story in the coming weeks.
